“When I first reached out to Emily about parent coaching services I was not sure what I would be getting into. I was a frustrated and exhausted mom of a highly emotional two year old and a one year old. My methods of yelling and empty threats were getting us nowhere and I knew I needed some sort of outside perspective and help! I am happy to say that I now feel like a more loving, understanding, compassionate, yet firm mom to my toddlers. We can actually enjoy the day ahead of us and effectively deal with roadblocks as they come versus dreading and anticipating what meltdown would be next. I enjoyed the layout of the entire process. One thing that was challenging yet very helpful was that Emily always asked me how I felt about things/situations. It made me think on the spot but I usually found "breakthrough" moments in just talking out my feelings and perspectives. I was certainly put at ease talking through tough moments and never left a session feeling embarrassed or judged. I highly recommend looking into parent coaching services to help break cycles of reactive parenting.”
